Car: Plymouth Satellite
What makes it special: The Plymouth Satellite was an up-scale version of the 1965 Plymouth Belvedere.
What made it famous: The Satellite came with a base 318 V8, but you could climb all the way up to a 425 hp., 426 Hemi V8 as optional equipment.
Why I would want one: In addition to the availability of those larger V8's like the famed Hemi, 4-speed transmissions were offered, although though few buyers ticked that option box when ordering.
Fun fact: A complete paper trail is essential for the fire-breathing large V8 Satellites to prove it's an original, also production numbers were incredibly strong, so parts or donor cars are easy to get for restoration.
